What we mean when we say considered
Four commitments that apply to every piece we sell, regardless of category.
Traceable, not just certified
Every hide, fiber, and metal we use can be traced to a named source — a tannery in Portugal, a mill in Peru, a refinery that processes only recycled gold. Certifications matter, but a name and a relationship matter more.
Twelve partners, visited in person
We work with a small, fixed network of workshops rather than a rotating list of factories. Most have made pieces for us for over five years, and we visit each one at least twice annually.
A lifetime program, not a warranty card
Frames, settings, and hardware are covered for as long as you own the piece. Send photos to our care team and we'll advise on repair, re-covering, or re-plating — always before suggesting replacement.
Fewer pieces, made to be kept
We don't offset the impact of overproduction — we avoid producing it. Small, considered runs mean less waste at the source, not a carbon credit purchased after the fact.
